SH Somerscales Ltd is a family firm with strong local roots, trading for over 40 years. We source logs for timber construction and restoration projects from across the UK and Europe. We also provide imported hardwoods and softwood fencing and gates. We cut from the log and machine the wood to your specifications. We can then deliver to your site anywhere in the UK. We can supply material for contemporary timber framing as well as quality woods for authentic restoration work such as traditional roof trusses.

Native and imported woods we can supply include:

• Oak, Opepe, Douglas Fir and Larch.
• Air dried and kiln dried joinery grade timbers.
• Oak, Ash, Chestnut, Beech and Sycamore.
• Imported hardwoods from America, Africa and the Orient.

We are manufacturers of Oak and Douglas Fir traditional roof trusses and offer machining and cutting to size of all our timbers and delivery to your site.
